Drawing and painting has been my major passion my hole life. As a kid I can remember that strong urge of always wanting to get back to the drawing table, no matter if I was having the best of times with my friends or watching the coolest movie... I just wanted to finish that drawing, and start the next one... A feeling a can totally relate to even today!

I spent most of my youth exploring all kind of styles, materials and tecniques. My major influences at that time came from the music and skateboarding scenes. The attraction for the "subcultures" and its aestetics, opened my eyes for tattooing and that quickly became my main interest and major focus of expression.

In 1994, at age 19, I graduated highschool. My mind was set for the artworld, and on top of the wishlist was the

tattoo industry. That same year, I got an apprenticeship at a tattooshop in my hometown Malmö, in the south of Sweden. Tattooing became my major expression (and obsession!). I worked full time in the business untill 2006 when I felt I had to get some fresh air and some new influences. That year I started studying "Imagery and visual learning" at Malmö University to become an art teacher. I have been teaching art and visual expressions since i graduated in 2011.

Studying to become a teacher, getting new influneces and learning new techniques, got me in to a more "illustration focused" expression. The digital tools finally found it's way into my workshop which opened a whole new world of possibilities! Coming from a very analog way of creating, using "real" materials, learning the value of true reasearch for references (before internet!), gives me a good advantage when combining it with the new digital way of creating.
